Biography
From his neighbor, the sega pioneer P'tit Frere, Lebrasse acquired knowledge of the style and launched his performances during the 1950s. Earning a livelihood proved challenging in the early stages, yet during the 1960s his recordings achieved sales comparable to those of foreign pop music. Extensive tours have taken him across the Indian Ocean region and throughout Europe.
