Seven 13

Originating from Boston, Massachusetts, Seven 13 fuses theatrical hard rock with a heavy metal edge. Harvard alumna Amanda Adams sought an artistic outlet beyond her established interests in art, culture, and literature when she launched a band project in 1997. Completion arrived the following year once Bryan Bales, earlier the drummer of Tank 26, entered the lineup. The 1999 arrivals of dancer and singer Lauren Doucette, Berklee College of Music honors graduate and bassist Brian Verrochi, and Justin Ballard, guitarist from Tank 26, enabled the ensemble to convey a darkness and haunting overtone of love absent from its prior state. Kenneth Michael’s arrival completed the six-piece configuration precisely ahead of the 2001 release of the band’s debut album, Unleashed.
