Biography
Emerging in 2014 from musicians already steeped in assorted noise projects, psychedelic noise-rock supergroup Sex Swing fuses longstanding noise ingredients with distorted organ and saxophone to yield a result that defies easy comparison. Vocals fall to Dan Chandler of Dethscalator, drums to Stuart Bell of Dethscalator and Gin Palace, guitar to Jason Stoll of Mugstar and Bonnacons of Doom, organ to Tim Cedar of Part Chimp and Ligament, and saxophone to Colin Webster of Dead Neanderthals. Their opening statement appeared on a split 7" alongside Clinic, where they supplied the track "Night-Time Worker." In mid-2016 the group joined the Quietus' label roster for their self-titled debut album and simultaneously added guitarist Jodie Cox of Earth. Joel Eaton's production sharpened the album's continuation of their profile for dark, weirdly psychedelic noise.
