Biography
Shalawambe, a five-piece kalindula ensemble whose core consists of three brothers, traces its roots to Zambia’s northern copperbelt. The siblings have crossed the Atlantic for multiple British tours, yet they earn their primary income from farming and return to working the fields outside periods of recording and performance.
