Biography
Hailing from Canada, indie rock quartet Shapes and Sizes blend distorted textures, irregular rhythms, and unconventional playing into a contagious brew of pop disorder that echoes Deerhoof, Impossible Shapes, and Frog Eyes. The ensemble came together in Victoria, British Columbia, and comprises Caila Thompson-Hannant, Rory Seydel, Jon Crellin, and Nathan Gage. Their self-titled first album appeared in 2006 via the Asthmatic Kitty imprint, followed in 2007 by Split Lips, Winning Hips, a Shiner.
