Biography
From an early age Sharon Allitt composed poetry alongside music, nurturing an authentic artistic gift that love ultimately sidelined when she chose marriage and family life. Yet the pull of performance never faded, so once her children reached adolescence she returned to college and resumed her musical efforts. Backed by her husband she launched live appearances and toured the New Jersey region. Having reestablished her stage presence, Allitt captured the album Independent Thought and issued it independently in 2002.
