Sheri Jones-Moffett

Sheri Jones-Moffett gained prominence through her performance on the gospel hit "Encourage Yourself" alongside Donald Lawrence's Tri-City Singers during the 1990s. The young vocalist received guidance from Lawrence, who acted in a mentoring capacity, before forming the gospel duo Ted & Sheri with Ted Wynn; the pair issued two acclaimed records titled The Healing Starts Right There and Celebrate. Her independent path commenced in 2009 via the EMI Gospel album Renewed, succeeded by Power & Authority: Live in Memphis in 2014.
