Biography
Following the issuance of Subtitulo, his seventh studio album from 2006, indie singer/songwriter Josh Rouse collaborated with Spanish vocalist Paz Suay to establish the duo She's Spanish, I'm American. From their apartment base in Valencia, Spain, the pair crafted a five-song self-titled EP evoking the retro-loungy puffiness associated with Black Moth Super Rainbow, the rainbow-tinted ambience of the Flaming Lips, and the ethereal synthiness found in acts such as Galaxie 500 and Stereolab. Bedroom Classics issued the recording in 2007.
