Biography
Short Attention came into being under the guidance of Christian Stefos, previously of the Tattle Tales, and drew its lineup from current and past participants in the Ergs, the Unlovables, Dirt Bike Annie, the Steinways, and the Slaughterhouse Four. The quirky punk-pop outfit issued its debut EP, Clever, Maddening and Annoying, through Cold Feet Records in 2007, at which point Stefos exited the band. Twelve months afterward the remaining roster—Mikey Erg on drums, guitars, and vocals; Dan Paquin on guitar, drums, and vocals; Chelsea handling vocals; Chadd Derkins on guitar and vocals; and Grath Madden on bass and vocals—delivered Polished Turds: 25 Decent Songs and 1 by Chris Grivet.
