Biography
In 1998 the Sacramento trio Shove unveiled their loud, guitar-driven noise pop through a split-CD EP shared with Torpedo. Issued on the band’s own Omnibus Records, the recording prompted critics to draw parallels with the Breeders and Veruca Salt, after which the group released a second split that same year alongside Speed King. Their debut full-length, Soundtrack for Disaster, surfaced in 1999 and was followed by a tour of the United States in its support.
