Biography
Show Pony harnessed the paired vocal harmonies delivered by bassist Helen Meany and guitarist Elizabeth, known simply as Elizabeth, while drawing on a blend of power-pop and alternative country that earned the quartet several gigs alongside fellow Australians Love Me and Golden Rough. Completing the lineup with guitarist Matt and drummer Jorge, the band first appeared in 1998 on a split EP alongside Twelve24 issued by Steady Cam Records.
