Biography
The progressive indie rock outfit Sian Alice Group revolves around vocalist Sian Ahern. Multi-instrumentalists engineer/producer Rupert Clervaux and music video director Ben Crook laid its groundwork in the mid-2000s; after completing some early recordings, the pair brought Ahern aboard and settled on the Sian Alice Group name. Guitarist Andy Ingle, bassist Douglas Hart, and violinist/pianist Sasha Vine came on board shortly thereafter, allowing the ensemble to play across Britain and Europe. Social Registry released a limited-edition 7" in 2007, while the debut album 59.59 was slated for 2008.
