Sid Shyne

Sidney Oladipo, the Atlanta-based rapper who records as Sid Shyne, pairs synthesizers and 808s with his vocal cadence, an approach first spotlighted on the breakthrough single “Devil May Cry.”

After arriving in Atlanta from Nigeria at fourteen, Oladipo immersed himself in the city’s rap community and, together with his brother $odaman, began building a recording career. Released in 2021, his debut album Midnight Fantasy crystallized his high-octane aesthetic and contained the track “Cinderella’s Fairytale.” That palette grew more expansive on the 2022 Adrenaline EP before yielding a second album, Dreams Unlocked, the following year.
