Biography
Silena Murrell entered the world in New Jersey yet spent her formative years in California, revealing creative gifts early through repeated church solos and appearances in stage musicals before leaving home for college. While finishing her undergraduate studies she also devoted serious attention to music, a commitment that yielded results once her degree was complete. Her debut single, “I Like My Man Hard,” produced by Scott Storch, reached radio in 2006 and featured on the promotional soundtrack for Lolita Files’ Sex.Lies.Murder.Fame, after which “Bring It Home” appeared soon afterward.
