Biography
In 2002 the new age ensemble Silent Sound entered the scene on Spring Hill, the Boulder, Colorado label, with its debut album Nightfall. Butch Baldassari, David Hoffner, and Jim Hoke supply the performances, moving across an extensive instrumental palette that includes mandolin, mandola, woodwinds, and strings. The same trio interprets material from multiple songwriters, among them Spring Hill recording artist Michael Hoppé.
