Biography
In 1999 the German extremists Six Reasons to Kill came together. Their six-song demo soon attracted Alveran Records, which issued the band's debut album, Kiss the Demon, in 2001. The record delivered a vicious death metal sound verging on grindcore and was backed by relentless touring with an eclectic range of acts that included Testament, Agnostic Front, and Napalm Death. Two split EPs appeared next: 2002's Morphology of Fear, shared with fellow Germans Absidia, and 2003's Split, recorded with the hardcore act Deadlock. After those releases, the members Christian Valk (vocals), Marco Schaller (guitar), Marco Andree (guitar), Matthias Machenheimer (bass), and Florian Dürr (drums) turned their attention to a second full album.
