Biography
In 2008 Dipset’s Juelz Santana launched Skull Gang after his regular associates were sidelined by internal conflict and his own solo path remained stalled by contractual entanglements. The lineup united Santana with Richmond Rab, Starr, Unkasa, John Depp, Deniro, and Riq Rose; their initial recordings surfaced that same year on the mixtape Takeover: The New Movement to Move With. Twelve months afterward, several of those tracks reappeared on the crew’s self-titled debut full-length, issued through the E-1 imprint.
