Biography
In San Francisco, Skypark delivered melodic pop marked by an innocent sophistication and alternating boy-girl vocals. Stories of summer crushes and broken hearts formed the core of their output across a short-lived run. Their lighthearted harmony echoed the influential charm of The Field Mice and Sterolab, drawing the attention of Shelflife Records, which issued the band's sole release, Summer Days Are Forever, in 1998. Skypark had already split not long after completing the recordings in 1997, before the EP reached the public.
