Biography
In Harrisonburg, Virginia, during the autumn of 1994, Sleepytime Trio first assembled as a trio comprising Drew Ringo on guitar, Ben Davis on bass, and Jonathan Fuller on drums. The following year the lineup grew into a quartet upon the arrival of Dave Nesmith on second guitar, an addition that reunited Nesmith with Ringo from their earlier work in Maximillian Colby. In 1998 the band delivered its sole recording, the half-live, half-studio album Memory Minus, and simultaneously entered a hiatus that proved short-lived. By December 1999 the members reconvened to undertake an East Coast tour.
