Biography
Formed in 2006, the Slumber Party Girls brought together Cassie Scerbo, Karla Deras, Mallory Low, Lina Carattini, and Caroline Ferguson-Scott, five young women selected through a wide-ranging talent competition run by Geffen Records and DIC Entertainment to assemble a singing, dancing, and acting quintet drawn from different regions and ethnic backgrounds across the United States. With prominent label executive Ron Fair serving as co-producer, the group issued its first album, Dance Revolution, that same year. The members also hosted the CBS Saturday morning programming block Secret Slumber Party while acting as the house band for the television series Dance Revolution.
