Biography
Smoke & Jackal began in 2012 when Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill and Mona vocalist/guitarist Nick Brown launched the act as a side project. The pair weaves together sonic threads from their main bands while centering the sound on wistful, late night electro-pop. Melodic, provocative, and desperate, the duo issued its debut single, "No Tell," on August 21, 2012 and announced plans for the first EP, EP No. 1, that October.
