Biography
In 1999 Carlos Justiniano, the former singer and guitarist of Vértigo and Barbarella, launched the Puerto Rican Latin rock project Sonrisa Vertical. The same musician also assembled Primavera 0: Tributo a Soda Stereo, an ensemble devoted to Soda Stereo’s classic repertoire, with drummer Rolando D’Lugo and Arnaldo Elias, singer and bassist of Celos de Daphne. Sonrisa Vertical’s self-titled debut album was recorded in 2001 under the supervision of producer Vestor Salomon.
