Biography
Formed in 2009, Dutch rock outfit Soul Sister Dance Revolution cultivated an alternative and indie rock sound. Four years of rehearsals and live shows preceded the arrival of their debut album Playground Kids, which DJ Di-Rect and bassist Bas van Wageningen produced and which reached number 28 on the Dutch album chart.
Once that record appeared, the band headlined an array of concerts, among them appearances at Metropolis and Parkpop, while their song “Soul Sister Dance Revolution” landed on the soundtrack of the Dutch television program The World Keeps Turning.
