Biography
Emerged from the remnants of Asphyx, an early and remarkably active yet underappreciated Dutch death metal act, Soulburn formed in the Netherlands. Its lineup of Wannes Gubbels on vocals and bass, Eric Daniels on guitar, and Bob Bagchus on drums issued the 1998 album Feeding on Angels through Century Media in the final years of the decade. The musicians then chose to revive the Asphyx name for all later releases, although it remains unclear whether that reversion will prove permanent.
