Biography
Formed in Toronto, the three-piece outfit Sour Landslide featured Vince Nicholson on guitar and vocals, Vern Nicholson handling bass and vocals, and Dee Horvath on drums. Several self-released cassettes appeared from the group throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their 1994 full-length cassette Friends of Dracula bringing wider attention. The full-length CD They Promised Us Jobs arrived in 1997 to favorable critical notice, yet growing dissatisfaction with the Canadian music industry led the band to disband in July 1998.
