Biography
In 1994 the American Federation of Jazz Societies assembled this extraordinary ensemble of longtime jazz musicians, every one at least 65 yet still performing at the height of their powers. Standouts in the lineup included violinist Claude Williams, who was 87 at the time, and alto saxophonist Benny Waters, whose commanding style remained undiminished at age 93.
