Biography
Emerging from the remnants of Starbelly, the Northeast Florida outfit Stella Luna specializes in dream-pop and space-rock. Its roster includes Susan Hanson on guitar and vocals, Devon Smith also handling guitar and vocals, Rhonda Roberts on bass, Jennifer Sterling at the keyboards, and Darin Fitzpatrick behind the drums. The group draws inspiration from the gauzy beauty of My Bloody Valentine and Siddal as well as the hazy daydream trip of Sonic Youth. Early in 2002 the band signed with Claire Records, which led to the release of the Stargazer EP that summer.
