Biography
In her hometown of Sydney, Australia, singer and songwriter Cindy Ryan had already spent time performing locally when she set her sights on issuing a debut solo album in 1997. Studio sessions alongside guitarists Genevieve Maynard and Bowden Campbell, drummer Raph Whittingham, and bassist Pat Hayes sparked an immediate creative bond. Abandoning the solo route, Ryan instead launched the group Stella One Eleven with those same musicians, which led directly to the 1998 release of “Mr. Big Car.”
