Biography
Stephen Allen, a saxophonist based in Southern California, has contributed to assorted recording sessions from the early 1990s onward. Those appearances encompass work with rock groups including the Imperial Crowns as well as performances with the milder country-rock sound of Poco and Eagles member Timothy B. Schmit. He handles saxophones across the soprano-to-baritone spectrum, receives commissions for horn arrangements, and at times layers every part himself through overdubs.
