Biography
Deriving its name from the initial manuscript of James Joyce's A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Stephen Hero operated chiefly as the one-man outlet for Patrick Fitzgerald, the ex-bassist and vocalist of Kitchens of Distinction. Recruiting guitarist Julian Swales from that same group plus drummer and programmer Dave Morgan, whose prior credits included Primal Scream and the Weather Prophets, Fitzgerald issued the Landed EP on his self-run Ragoora Records in late 2000. The Lullaby EP appeared the following May.
