Biography
Keyboardist and composer Steve Haun rose to local prominence in his hometown of Boulder, CO once a Denver television outlet aired a profile spotlighting his emerging career. That broadcast drew interest from area media companies, which soon licensed selections of his music for advertising spots that reached national audiences. He subsequently created pieces tied to the yearly Bolder Boulder 10K marathon and expanded into scoring for televised athletics, among them NBC presentations of NFL and collegiate football games plus coverage of NBA contests, Wimbledon, and the Olympic Games. Portions of his score for the 1996 Summer Olympics were later featured on Glory Bound, the artist’s first release on the Gallery label.
