Biography
Steve Mossberg grew up in Worcester, MA, where his early work drew on jazz and folk while he spent several years performing in a local jam band. Eventually he folded in the styles of Billy Joel, Joe Jackson, Carole King, and Steely Dan and launched a solo career in 2001. That same year he independently issued his debut, self-titled album, then recruited Adam Slater on bass and Bob Belanger on drums to create the Steve Mossberg Group.
