Biography
In 2005 Steven Strait balanced his work as an actor, model, and singer with notable screen appearances that advanced his profile. A supporting turn in Disney’s sci-fi parody Sky High came first, followed later that summer by his role opposite Pell James and Ashlee Simpson in the teen feature Undiscovered, where he played a struggling musician who falls in love with James’s aspiring-model character. Six original songs performed by Strait appeared on the film’s soundtrack, and reports indicated that his band Tribe was then preparing an album.
