In 2021 Stone Giants made their first appearance with West Coast Love Stories, the project under which Brazilian electronic artist Amon Tobin broadens his sonic range by folding Krautrock and hauntology into the psychedelic folk already explored through his Figueroa alias.
Rooted in Tobin’s wide-ranging production methods, the record generates an ethereal atmosphere that aligns naturally alongside Broadcast, Boards of Canada, and the soundtrack work of post-rockers Mogwai.
