Biography
Following Justin Hawkins's exit from the British rock band the Darkness, the group's remaining members quickly formed the harder-edged heavy metal outfit Stone Gods. Richie Edwards, previously the bassist, took over lead vocals, Dan Hawkins stayed on guitar, and Ed Graham continued on drums. Toby Macfarlaine joined on bass, after which the band began laying down tracks for their first album. Throughout the final months of 2007, Stone Gods supported Thin Lizzy and Apocalyptica on tour while also performing their own headline shows. The single "Burn the Witch" appeared in early 2008, and the full-length debut Silver Spoons and Broken Bones arrived later that year.
