Biography
Emerging from the perennial indie hotbed of Olympia, WA, singer/bassist Star Athena launched punk-pop trio the SubDebs after the Flying Tigers disbanded. She completed the lineup by adding singer/guitarist Brooke and drummer James, after which the band put out its debut cassette on K and followed up with the full-length She's So Control in the fall of 1999.
