Biography
Atlanta served as the home base for Success-n-Effect, one among the numerous rap groups that formed in the late 1980s and early 1990s as hip-hop gained broader mainstream traction. DJ Len and Professor Lazy Rock stood as the central figures within the lineup, which drew in additional rappers from the surrounding Atlanta area. The collective released three albums—In the Hood in 1989, Back-n-Effect in 1991, and Drive-by of Uh Revolutionist in 1993—before breaking up in the mid-1990s.
