Biography
Hailing from New York, the electronica pair Sum united Preset—also known as Danny Blume, who had founded and produced the group Liminal—with Chris Kelly, a producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. Their first album, the 1998 release 1, surfaced on the Caipirnha label.
