Biography
Sun Ho, the Mandopop vocalist also identified among Chinese followers as He Yao Sun, attained her initial breakthrough in 2002 and swiftly rose to rank among the most enduringly favored Singaporean performers in history. Her first recording arrived that same year via the album Sun with Love, which found strong favor domestically, above all through its title-track success. The follow-up project Sun*day, issued in 2002, achieved markedly greater commercial impact by extending into Taiwan, where the single "Miss Catastrophe" registered as a substantial hit. Lonely Travel, her third album from 2003, delivered her strongest results to date and carried her prominence across Asia. Over the following period she further broadened her global profile, with particular emphasis on the United States through multiple English-language singles. At the same time, Mandopop releases including Gain in 2006 and Embrace in 2007 concentrated on Asian territories.
