Biography
Sundown embraces the anti-nice guy persona without hesitation while addressing themes of drugs, violence, obsession, and widespread selfishness in the lyrics. The band merges industrial and metal textures with a "hating everybody" outlook, issuing its debut full-length Design 19 via Century Media Records in 1997. After the lineup stabilized around Mathias Lodmalm (vocals), Herman Engström (guitar), Andreas Karlsson (bass), and Chris Silver (drums), the ironically titled Glimmer arrived two years later in 1999.
