Biography
In 2005 Belfast, ME resident Garrett Soucy, already known as the frontman of contemporary Christian folk-rock act Tree by Leaf, partnered with producer Andrew Luckless to launch the duo Sunlight in Architecture. The pair developed an unsteady, earthy aesthetic that drew from secular indie artists including Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, and Bonnie "Prince" Billy, then issued their self-titled debut album on Long Ago Light three years afterward.
