Biography
Peter Morris and Paul Freegard formed a London-based duo that reached cult dancefloor status after their beginnings inside Meat Beat Manifesto. Foreboding qualities long tied to their prior outfit merged with dense breakbeats and knowing reworkings of house forms. A restless, playful impulse missing from MBM appeared to animate cuts such as ‘Terminal High RIP’. The pair started out in 1990 with ‘Body Medusa’, which came ahead of ‘United State Of Love’ on Guerilla Records in 1992. Leftfield supplied the remix of the first track and Slam reworked the second.
