Biography
Supershine emerged as one of the new millennium’s most eagerly awaited underground supergroups, uniting the distinctive skills of Doug Pinnick, vocalist and bassist for King’s X, with Bruce Franklin on guitar and Jeff Olson on drums, both previously of Trouble. Assisted by King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill along with guitarist Ty Tabor, who handled mixing duties, the ensemble tracked its self-titled debut across multiple sessions spanning an entire year before issuing the album on Metal Blade Records during the summer of 2000.
