Sweet Boy crafts brooding indie rock that fixates on the floor while drawing from sadcore to examine abandonment, languishing, and longing from afar. The anonymous artist entered the Top 40 of the Billboard TikTok Top 50 in 2023 with "i still think about you." That track joined five additional low-fidelity originals on the Sweet Boy EP, issued in January 2024.
