Swing

Montreal natives Bobby Lalonde and Michel Benac launched their Swing project in 1996 with the goal of forging an entirely new style through the fusion of techno, hip-hop, and folk. Positioning themselves as the originators of this hybrid approach, they coined the term "Technotrad" to describe it. Tox Records recognized the fresh concept and issued the duo's debut album, La Chanson S@cre, in 1999.
