Tadia

Haitian-American musician Tadia Toussaint, who performs as TADIA, fuses reggae, hip-hop, Soca, Kompa, and further styles into her sophisticated R&B sound. Raised in Brooklyn, she sang with a gospel group and trained in classical music at the Juilliard School, then set performance aside to earn a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in journalism. Once she resumed her artistic path, TADIA partnered with Grammy-winning producer Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis to record the 2019 single "Down Low" for Wonda Music; the release brought invitations to open concert dates for Davido as well as Michael Brun's BAYO Tour. She returned the following year with another Duplessis-produced track, the effervescent "Worth It."
