Biography
Originating in East St. Louis, Illinois, Tychius Dequa Marti came into the world on August 1, 1981, and spent his formative years in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he first took up rapping while still young. Initially active as an underground rapper in Michigan, he later shifted southward to Atlanta in pursuit of broader prospects. His recording career opened at age sixteen through the 1997 release Raw Power: Intro to 97, after which he issued further projects at intervals, among them Show the World in 2002. Once based in Atlanta, Tai Chi connected with the independent Wealthy Family Records and delivered additional albums such as Meeting of the Bosses in 2006 and Raw Power: Intro to 07 in 2007.
