Biography
In 1990 the Californian artist Tairrie B. released her lone hip-hop album, drawing on assistance from Eazy-E of N.W.A. along with further production contributions supplied by Schoolly D. Although her look and identity proved distinctive—a blonde feminist within hip-hop capable of matching men at their own game while preserving a distinctly feminine presence—the record made scant impression, after which Tairrie B. withdrew entirely from the scene.
