Tea

Tea Marika Hiilloste came into the world in Lahti, Finland, in 1982 and later performed as the pop vocalist Tea. She first drew notice through membership in a group that rose to prominence on the Finnish television reality talent series Popstars. The outfit, known as Jane, split up in 2007, after which Tea launched a solo career. EMI signed her shortly after the breakup and issued her debut single, "Tytöt Tykkää." The self-titled album Tytöt Tykkää followed in August 2007 and matched the single's performance by climbing to number five on the charts. Tea further built her profile as a television presenter by hosting the MTV3 program Kids Top 20.
