Biography
In 2008, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Kelly Pratt (Arcade Fire, Beirut) launched Brooklyn, NY-based indie pop outfit Team B. The project pulls from an eclectic array of sources that span lounge, power pop, comedy, and experimental rock, functioning chiefly as a showcase for Pratt’s broad skills while drawing support from an all-star lineup of indie rockers that features drummer Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem), bass player Richard Reed Parry (Arcade Fire), and Jon Natchez and Perrin Cloutier (Beirut). Their self-titled debut, which earned favorable comparisons to everyone from Ween to Weezer, appeared independently in May 2009.
